μArrayer™ Manual Microarray Spotter

Manually operated microarray spotter for printing low density arrays, testing pins, spotting chemistry, carry-over, substrate surface quality, processing techniques and running other essential experiments.

For a fraction of cost and time needed for setting up a robotics system μArrayer™ can be a quick start in microarray assays before scaling up to an automated printing. It is also perfect for a short term student projects.

TeleChem SMP, TeleChem Stealth and LabNEXT pins - print head #2.

Depletion Test 350um Pin:After a sample pick-up spots were printed in 50 spot rows until the sample run out. The test shows how many spots pin can produce from a single pick-up, required number of pre-spotting hits and the area of consistent deposition.

12x9 Cluster: Printed with a 140um pin, 700um spot spacing. Dye on plain glass. The test shows inconsistent spots due to low and irregular binding of the sample with the plain glass surface. Coated glass slides are required for consistent spot deposition.
